Barkley Regional Airport
Commercial air travel is convenient and affordable at Barkley Regional Airport in Paducah, thanks to daily flights to Charlotte Douglas International Airport via Contour Airlines.  Charlotte is an American Airlines hub providing access to more than 130 domestic and 35 international destinations. Barkley Regional offers superb facilities: including two runways at 6,500 feet and 5,500 feet, FAA-certified repair service, outstanding concierge and charter services including air cargo. These amenities assure efficiency and sky-high satisfaction for executive travel as well as other transit needs.  A new expanded terminal building will open in early 2023.

Nashville International Airport
Nashville International Airport is served by 30 airlines, 26 passenger and 4 cargo-only carriers offering 540 daily commercial flights including 75 non-stop locations in North America and Europe.  A 440,000 square feet terminal lobby expansion - including a new state-of-the art International Arrival Facility and a 14-story, 292-room Hilton branded hotel - will be completed in late 2023.  An additional $1.4 billion expansion, to be completed in 2028, will construct two concourses, a new freight air building, and additional infrastructure upgrades to enhance the flight customer experience.

The Kentucky Cornerstone is rail served with access to multiple Class I railways. Cover the continent with Class I speed, thanks to direct service by Canadian National Railway(CN) and BNSF Railway and short line access to CSX Transportation and Norfolk Southern (NS). Access from Paducah and Louisville Railway (PALRR) and Tennken Railroad Companyshort line service provides low-cost connections to CN, CSX, BNSF and NS.

The Kentucky Cornerstone is home to 4 active riverports along the Mississippi, Tennessee, Ohio, and Cumberland rivers. Our region has a robust network of facilities along the inland waterway providing a diverse mix of services, operators, and commodity movement.

Paducah-McCracken County Riverport’s 48-acre facilities are at the confluence of the Tennessee and Ohio rivers, between river mile 1.3 and 2 on the Tennessee River. with nearby access to the Cumberland and Mississippi rivers as well. The port boasts 2,300 feet of river frontage, two berths, and multiple mooring facilities. Paducah-McCracken County Riverport is also a standalone Foreign Trade Zone. Moreover, I-24 is located only 4 miles from the port. The top waterborne commodities by volume passing through the Paducah-McCracken County Riverport’s hinterland consist of coal, nonmetallic minerals, agricultural production/livestock, chemicals or allied products, and petroleum or coal products. Twenty-three barge companies have operating or corporate headquarters near the port, and a rolling fleet of loaders, forklifts, trucks, and portable conveyors transport goods throughout the property while also providing a livelihood to many in the surrounding area

Eddyville Riverport in Lyon County is a 252-acre port on Lake Barkley on the Cumberland River where it supports the agricultural business community in transporting grains and fertilizers to, from, and through the surrounding rural area of western Kentucky. The terminal operations area offers 2700 feet of water frontage and currently has a public dock, grain facility, and fertilizer operation.

Hickman-Fulton County Riverport is the only Kentucky public riverport currently operating on the Mississippi River. This riverport offers 1,400 feet of linear river frontage and is located roughly 20 miles from I-69 and currently serves major industries including agriculture, steel, carbon-based products, and construction.

Western Kentucky Regional Riverport Authority (WKRRA) was formed in 2019 as part of a regional effort between Ballard, Carlisle, Hickman, and Fulton counties to establish a port on the Mississippi River in Wickliffe and would offer considerable multimodal access via Canadian National (CN) Railroad and three U.S. highways: U.S. 51, U.S. 60, and U.S. 62. These amenities, combined with an existing partnership with Phoenix Paper, give the port a unique advantage.
